We welcome you to this website, where residents of Rocklin and the surrounding Placer County area can access the information, people, events, restaurants, churches, and local businesses that make this area such a wonderful place to live.
We have found this to be a warm and inviting place to live. We noticed that there are a lot of great things to see and do here, but that there is not a place dedicated on the internet for both new neighbors and long-time residents to access all this area has to offer. Though we put a lot of information on this website, its usefulness to others is largely determined by your input. Please feel free to place articles, events, & classified ads.
We are excited to provide this special place on the internet, and hope that you will visit us often as this grows into the place for all to access Rocklin and the surrounding Placer County area. Employee Bios
Rachel Wikoff - VP Administration/Marketing
 Rachel is the VP of Administration and Marketing for RocklinOnline. She attended Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA for 3 years majoring in communications. The summer before her senior year she was offered an internship with a PBS affiliate news station, WEIU, in Charleston, IL. There she learned hands-on journalism skills while working as a news writer, producer, reporter and anchor. When she was offered a scholarship to attend Eastern Illinois University she jumped at the chance to transfer her senior year. Of course, it helped that her future husband, Paul, was also living in the small town of Charleston!
Rachel graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and then went on to graduate school. While attending school for her master’s degree, she was an associate producer for WEIU TV. There she worked as a co-host for an Illinois travel show called Heartland Highways. Airing nationwide on RFDTV, Heartland Highways was an excellent opportunity that taught her valuable journalism skills. While working full-time she completed her schooling and graduated with a Master’s of Science Degree in Technology, with an emphasis in Training and Development.
Rachel currently resides in Rocklin with her husband and 1 year old son, Jadon. She enjoys the opportunity to meet community members and local businesses all while learning more about what the area has to offer.

Micah Gunther - Sales Executive
 Micah is an Executive Sales Manager for RocklinOnline. Micah has a background in sales, most recently working as a car salesman for Toyota and Future Ford in Roseville, CA. Due to the current state of the economy, Micah left the car sales to join the team of RocklinOnline. Micah’s outgoing friendly personality fits right in with RocklinOnline’s mission to help network community members and local businesses. He has a passion for getting to know people and enjoys discovering synergetic opportunities.
When Micah isn’t working, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, spending time with family and fitness training. He resides in Granite Bay and is currently attending classes through Sierra College.
