Favorite Restaurants
writes, "There are so many restaurant choices available in Placer County."
It's the holiday shopping season... and with all the running around and being out & about, many of us are eating out.
What is your favorite local place to eat? Any recommendations about the menu?

One of my favorites is Costa Vida on Eureka near the Roseville Auto Mall. Their chips, quesadillas, and burritos are some of the best. The sweet pork on any of these options is outstanding. Another favorite is Bangkok Thai near Sierra College-excellent Pad Thai and Red Curry, and don't miss out on the Thai Iced Tea. Pizza Antiqua at Quarry Ponds on Douglas is outstanding for a family night out or for a gourmet pizza date. Panera Bread Co. on Douglas or Pleasant Grove is a family favorite--too many tasty panini, soup, and salad options to pick out favorites. Chipotle on Douglas or Pleasant Grove and Rubio's Tacos are family staples--anything goes there. Not to forget the excellent sushi in the area at places like Tokyo Dori near Sierra College, Mizu near Sutter Roseville Hospital, and Sushi Unlimited near the Galleria. Occasional splurges include Ruth's Chris, Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang's, BJ's Restaurant and Brewery, and Cattlemen's. There are so many restaurants with excellent food in Placer County that I can't name them all...still plenty I haven't made it to as well. You can hardly go wrong with many restaurants in the area.
