How we started

Rocklin grew around granite, and the quarries remain part of how we see the city. Oaks shade its foothill trails; summer heat sends us looking for those shady stretches, while cooler evenings draw us back outside. We started Rocklin Online to report on a place where that quarry past and a changing city sit side by side.
